Christmas Wreath Workshop

I had such a lovely time at the wreath making workshop at Lovelies Delights last year, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a festive activity with a difference.
The workshop is run in partnership with Bethann from Wild Blodyn Florist, and everything was so thoughtfully organised. We were treated to a choice of drink and a lovely selection of cakes and sweet treats before getting started. Bethann demonstrated each stage of making the wreath clearly, with easy-to-follow instructions, so even if you had never made one before, you felt confident having a go.
There was a fantastic selection of wreath-making materials to choose from, all beautifully displayed. I really enjoyed being able to pick the colours and decorations to create something that suited my own style rather than everyone making identical wreaths. Bethann was always on hand if you needed help or advice, and one of my favourite touches was that she made a personalised bow for each wreath to complement the colour scheme.
The small, intimate setting at Lovelies Delights made it such a relaxed and enjoyable experience. It was lovely being able to chat with friends while getting creative, and of course having plenty of cake made it even better!
My finished wreath was absolutely beautiful and lasted for months afterwards. In fact, I loved it so much that I still have it hanging up in my greenhouse! It was a really enjoyable afternoon and a lovely way to get into the Christmas spirit. I would happily do it all over again.

Last December I joined a group of ladies at ‘Lovelies Delights’ to attend a natural wreath- making class. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, and the smell of all the greenery was divine. We had 2 ladies taking the session and we produced our wreaths from scratch, covering the base with moss as preparation for our designs. Each wreath was individual and beautiful. The ‘icing on the cake’ was the lovely spread of delicious sweet treats that Beckie made for our delectation. 😋 It was a thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours and I hope to attend again this year… something festive and creative to look forward to.

I had a great time making a Christmas wreath, the florist was very clear and helpful. There was a great selection of materials and each wreath made was different. The cakes were delicious and the Black Forest hot chocolate is amazing.
